Kevin Molinelli

Where did you grow up?
I grew up in Beacon Falls, CT--a town in the Naugatuck River Valley. I moved to New Haven after finishing high school, lived in New York City for a while, and then eventually settled back in the New Haven area.

What is your academic background?
I earned an undergraduate degree in social work from Southern Connecticut State University and then NYU, where I finished with a master’s degree in clinical social work. After graduate school, I completed a seminar in field instruction at the University of Connecticut.

What will you be teaching/coaching/advising this year?
I am a counselor on the Student Support team here at Hopkins. I work with students, families, and other members of the Hopkins community, providing support and education related to mental health and wellness.

Do you have any pets? Tell us about them!
I have two cats, Ivan and Oliver. They’re both rescues. Ivan is eleven years old and Oliver is a kitten (he’s pure chaos).
